World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking :
Monitoring& Evaluation Officer
The successful candidate will:
Contribute to the development and implementation of an effective monitoring and evaluation system for projects and programs
Organize and coordinate the process of conducting baseline surveys/evaluations
Conduct project evaluations and monitoring visits
Work with Programs staff in preparing monitoring and evaluation plans
Collect and analyize monitoring data/information about projects
Serve as a technical resource in monitoring and evaluation issues
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor degree (Master degree preferred) in social sciences, development studies or relevant field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian relief and development projects with an international NGO
Excellent language skills in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
Thorough knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of basic statistics and data collection methods is a definite asset
Commitment to achieving quality results and service
Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
Ability to think clearly, deeply and broadly
Commitment to learning for growth and development
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work cross culturally
Demonstrated effectiveness in influencing individuals and groups
Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle to travel throughout Gaza
Familiarity with AusAID-funded programming preferred
Integrity and strong identification with World Vision’s Core Values
Position is based in Gaza
